Roots & Rose Masala Chai is a warming, spicy, cold season favorite, full of adaptogenic and immune boosting herbs to help build your body’s resilience in times of stress. The spicy chai is balanced with earthy sweet rooibos and soothing rose and lavender florals. Masala Chai is typically steeped in milk and sweetened with honey but can also be made with water.
This is one of our most popular blends, and back by demand. We used to produce this tea just in winter but now have added it to our core line. If you like spicy full bodied chai’s this one if for you. As one of the prettiest blends with its vibrant rose petals against the earthy roots, it’s also worth displaying as a gift or in your kitchen.
Use 1 tablespoon in 8 oz water or your favorite type of milk. Simmer for 15 minutes. For extra spice let steep for 1 hour. I normally make a large batch and then turn it into iced chai the next morning. Sweeten with honey, maple syrup, or Turmeric and Black Pepper Beehive for an extra pizazz.
Ingredients: organic rooibos, organic cardamom, organic ginger, organic roasted dandelion root, organic clove, organic true cinnamon, organic star anise, organic black peppercorn, organic astragalus, organic rose petals, organic eleuthero, and organic lavender.
