The Song of Songs

Also known as the Song of Solomon, or the Canticle of Canticles

"I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine"

Not the sappy cupid love struck, but the love in faith that is given over and over again.  The love that comes with sacrifice, difficult circumstances, and true nature.  Open yourself completely, with no judgement or agenda.  This type of love is considered a resting state of being in Buddhism, and is the utmost state of union in the Abrahamic religions.

Azazel: Shadows

Ingredients: Organic golden jojoba oil, organic expeller pressed sunflower oil, organic rosehip oil, juniper essential oil, patchouli essential oil, coriander essential oil, angelica root essential oil, cardamom essential oil, distilled lemon essential oil, cassia essential oil.

On the surface we see a fallen angel, but the story has more depth.  How do we handle our shadows?  The ones that are entwined in our being.  The story of azazel, or the scapegoat, refers to the act of repent.  Give your sins to this goat, this physical thing, and acknowledge our need for forgiveness.  Then send him off to the woods, for us to try again.

There are many traditions and rituals of presenting our sins to an object, performed as a way for the psyche to release it's old patterns and accept new beginnings.  The first step is awareness and acknowledgement of our nature.  The second is to ask for help.  The third is to bless it, and let it go.

Elohim: Sacred

Ingredients: Organic golden jojoba oil, organic expeller pressed sunflower oil, organic rosehip oil, copaiba balsam essential oil, cedarwood essential oil, vetiver essential oil, rose absolute, frankincense essential oil, opopanax essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil, nagarmotha essential oil.

Homage to the diety.  Homage to the dieties.  Homage to those who continue to worship, praise, and be open to the light.

Elohim is an uplifting scent with floral front notes and a strong grounding base.

Arukah: Wholeness

Ingredients: Bergamot-FCF, Rosemary Oil, Patchouli Oil, Clary Sage Oil, Davana Oil, Oakmoss Absolute, and Labdanum Absolute.

The restoration to health.  From Strong's definition: "A restoring to soundness; wholeness (literally or figuratively); health, made up, perfected.”  Health, in biblical terms, brings together the entire person, the whole person, if you will.  Being a healthy person implies that your whole person is being perfected and restored to soundness.

What makes you whole?  How do you experience Arukah?
