Rose Syrup

One of my favorite syrups to make starting early Summer when the roses start their show. Like all of the other syrups, this is a super simple recipe and well worth the time.
Ingredients
-
8-10 roses, petals pulled from the bud/stem
-
1-2c sugar
-
Pint Ball/Mason jar
Recipe
-
its easiest when you bruise the petals first. Take as many in your hands as possible and roll up into a tight ball. Add it to a ball jar.
-
Add some sugar.
-
Add more petals
-
Add more sugar
-
Keep doing that until the jar is packed with petals and sugar
-
Shake daily for minimum 3 days.
-
Strain, enjoy.
